FAQ for OMAN CLIMATE WEEK

Yes, most international visitors (except Gulf Cooperation Council Nationals) need a visa to enter Oman. To boost tourism and business, Oman has made the visa application process easy and straightforward. Simply visit the official Royal Oman Police website to check visa requirements for your country and apply online for an e-visa.

In February, Oman enjoys mild and pleasant weather with average temperatures ranging from 17°C to 25°C (63°F to 77°F). The sunny days are perfect for outdoor activities, making it an ideal time to visit. Take advantage of this wonderful weather to explore Oman’s scenic beauty, hike the mountains, camp in the desert, enjoy water sports in the clear ocean waters, and shop in local souqs. It’s a great opportunity to experience all that Oman has to offer. 

The main event will be held at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) in Madinat Al Irfan, Airport Heights. Located just 10 km from Muscat International Airport, it’s only a 10-minute drive away. Additionally, we have various events scheduled around Muscat, which will be updated on our website as they are confirmed. 

The inaugural Oman Climate Week 2025 will take place from February 24th to 27th, offering four days of engaging activities. Expect a dynamic lineup of exhibitions, in-depth workshops, insightful conferences, field trips, tech talks, an awards ceremony, and more. This year, we’re enhancing the experience with a series of diverse side events throughout Oman Climate Week.

Within walking distance, you’ll find prestigious international hotels like the four-star Crowne Plaza OCEC and the five-star JW Marriott. You will be meeting a diverse and international gathering of delegates hailing from all corners of the world. The dress code for attending the summit can be either traditional attire or business casual. In the spirit of cultural respect and appreciation, we kindly request all visitors to dress modestly while visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
