This tour takes you first to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Nizwa Souq is among the largest of its kind in the country. Here you can find fish, meat, vegetables Market, also, pottery, jewelry, handicrafts, and souvenirs which are sold in authentic old market halls that few places can boast.
Next, we will see the beauty of Jebel Akhdar by walking around the old villages & through the farms where we can talk to the local people & take memorial photos.

Al-Shahba is what is called the most famous landmark in Nizwa, it’s Nizwa Fort, a combination of a castle, a fort, and a museum distinguished by its unique architecture, it’s also considered one of the oldest forts in Oman, as it was built in the seventeenth century.
While in Nizwa, never miss the opportunity to enjoy the traditional & historical Souq where It always feels authentic and genuine. Nizwa Souq is a great place to explore and buy fruits, Omani coffee, Halwa, souvenirs, and everything in between. It also includes many traditional local crafts such as making daggers, pottery, silver, copper, spinning, selling livestock, fish, vegetables, and handicrafts.
On the way to Jebel Akhdar we will pass by Birkat Almouz & we will see the irrigation system (Falaj) & the most famous tree in Oman (Date Palm).
The walk goes through four small villages perched above agricultural terraces, it starts from Alaqr Village, passing through the local farms, Al-Ain old villages, water channels, and agricultural terraces until it ends in shrija Village.
After Lunch we will drive back to Muscat.
