ECOTHON Oman 2026 is a three-day Climate Innovation Hackathon taking place as part of Oman Climate Week.Teams of 3–6 participants will come together to tackle real-world climate and sustainability challenges presented by Oman LNG and South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, developing practical and innovative solutions with the potential to create real impact.
How Does ECOTHON Work?
Over three intensive days, teams will be presented with real climate and environmental challenges and work together to take them from problem to solution.
Participants won’t be doing it alone. Throughout the hackathon, teams will receive hands-on mentorship and guidance from industry experts, specialists and experienced mentors, alongside workshops and support to help them develop their ideas, strengthen their solutions and prepare an effective final pitch.
At the end of ECOTHON, each team will pitch its solution to an expert judging panel, with the strongest solutions competing for the top three positions and monetary prizes.
